Quran is complete code of life and final guidance for the human beings. Its teaching is eternal. The Quranic sciences of interpretations and principles of interpretations were originated in the epoch of Holy Prophet. Later different scholars of Islam interpreted the Quran with different dimensions, some people adopted rational, grammatical, scientific dimensions. As main purpose of Quran is to guide human kind, so many people wrote about Ahkams (orders) of Quran, known as “Ahkam-ul-Quran”. In this article we will discuss basic sources of Ahkam-ul-Quran. The main purpose of this article is to introduce all original sources of “Ahkam-ul-Quran” and methodology of these sources which is adopted by these mufassreen according to their sects (Maslik) e.g. Hanbli, Sha’afi, Hanafi, Malaki. This article will help scholars, to find and understand all basic sources of Ahkam-ul-Quran like Ahkam-ul-Quran by Imam Jasa’s, Ibn-e- Arabi, Imam Sha’afi, Imam Jalal-Din Sayuti, Imam Qurtabi, Imam Alkia-Harasi, and methodology of these sources at one place.
