This research undertakes a comprehensive analysis and comparison of Islamic law (Sharia) and statutory law, exploring their fundamental principles, methodologies, and applications. A critical examination of the historical development, sources, and interpretations of Islamic law is presented, alongside a parallel analysis of statutory law's evolution, structure, and enforcement mechanisms. The study identifies areas of convergence and divergence between the two legal systems, including their approaches to justice, rights, and obligations. Through a comparative lens, this research aims to foster a deeper understanding of the complexities and nuances of both laws. On the Islamic law and Statutory law a rich literature is availabl, however, a valuable analytical and comparative study of both law is still requires to trace out the need, importance and efficacy of Islamic law, and incompatibility and limitation of statutory law in fulfilling the demands of modern age. In this connection, an analytical and comparative study of both laws has been conducted, and the need, importance, validity and efficacy of Islamic law hase been highlighted whereas the incompatibility and limitation of statutory law has been traced out.
