The research has mainly focused on the reformation and rectification of the society which is one of the significant aspects of Islamic teachings. The reformation of the societies has taken place in several ways in Islam. From the early times of the Prophet hood, Islam emphasized drawing clear moral boundaries for inclusion in social groups that are deemed “in-group” clearly marking the “out-group” ones possessing or lacking some moral and ethical characteristics or traits. Such sayings of the Prophet ﷺ were specifically collated for this academic endeavor where the group identity was made clear by using connotations of “they are not among us, who do this”. Such statements not only had the profound power to manifest core group traits expected from believers but also at the same time laid clear demarcations of what is acceptable and what is not, among the cherished norms and desired culture for individuals and societies that hold Islamic values at their very core of social and cultural fabric.
